Thank you for this Jan, it is just what I needed. I have been walking past a small area of Primroses that nestle in a hedgerow corner up the road every day and they have been pulling me in with their quiet beauty and asking that I engage with them and find their magic. I didn't know that they were in Ceridwen's cauldron, and am delighted to hear it and their beneficial properties. I'm on my way to go and ask if I can harvest some flowers for an essence.
Jan, thank you for the mythical story, which Ive never heard. When you say primrose, do cowslips have the same properties ? There are no primroses here but cowslips grow in abundance, I know both are primula but varieties can vary... xx
Your knowledge and intuition is such a beautiful gift to us, the readers! To tell the truth, just reading your soft, poetic, peaceful words are healing to me! Thank you for your generous gifts of the fruits of your life's work. nora ann
I haven't had much luck with primroses in the garden. I have planted a few but they don't thrive and this year they haven't flowered and the leaves look smaller than ever.
It's such a beautiful and unassuming flower, the yellows always make me smile and I love how they mix so well with the violets... I had no idea of its healing properties.
So interesting and I have learned something new about primroses - a flower that I love at this time of year - also the celandines which are superb in this sunny weather. Thank you for such an uplifting post.

I have to agree, Jan's healing aura reaches us through her words even before the herbs begin their magic.
that's really gracious Susie x
That's so kind and uplifting Nora Ann -- thank you x

Thank you, Jan!
We're lucky that they grow wild here. Their healing properties are as gentle as their looks too :)

Thank you Patricia -- the celandines are everywhere here -- coast and forest and so cheerful. And primroses too -- they are such gentle healers. x
